I do not really have the answer to your question but I'll bring you here somebody who can help youīy the sounds of it BFME2 is the least of your worries.
I'd just like to give the campaigns a run through again for nostalgia. But if it was possible, I'd gladly do the work myself if its about amending values somewhere. Would really like to apply what has been done on the skrim/mp maps to the campaign if it was possible. On my 27inch 1920x1080, on the single player campaigns, I have maybe 2-3 units and a building in view at the most. My question is: is there a way I can fix this to play the campaigns again. I've patched my game to 1.07 and as I understand it, this fixes the zooming on skirmish and MP maps. I have a quick question that may be a bit silly or if it has been answered before, I apologies. I believe the GTX 970 supports Dynamic Super Resolution, so you should be able to use that to increase your resolution. If you increase your resolution, you zoom out more. Zoom level depends on your screen resolution. The Conquerors expansion solved any problems with the original and made vast improvements too.
My buddies and I played in the dorms in college and I still have the recorded games and replay them sometimes when i'm bored. I have played this game from day 1 (ten years ago)! I love this game. No one civ is better than the others and there is always some weak point to be exploited. The zoom stays the same, and players realize that they only needed to play with that level for longer. The fortified outpost triggers a notification when an army of a certain size passes by it.
